Age 90
Entering the Sisters of Mercy at the age of 23, Sister Ann Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Mother of Mercy High School in the same city.
Ann Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Our Lady of Cincinnati College and her master’s degree from Xavier University, also in Cincinnati.
She served as an elementary school teacher in elementary schools in the Cincinnati, Dayton and Cleveland, Ohio archdioceses. Ann Mary also ministered as principal at St. Margaret of Cortona in Columbus, Ohio, and St. Cecelia School in Cincinnati.
In her later years, Ann Mary was a pastoral associate and cared for the elderly at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Cincinnati and was involved in vocation awareness.
