Age 76
Sister Celina was born in Georgetown, Guyana. She entered the Sisters of Mercy in Guyana on January 14, 1971 and professed her perpetual vows on October 15, 1978. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Misericordia University.
Sister Celina lived her fourth vow of service in various areas. She spent several years in the teaching profession and worked in the business office and later as human resource director at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. In 2002, she was appointed administrator of St. John Bosco Orphanage. From 2007 to 2019 she worked in the administrative office at Marian Academy.
Sister Celina will be remembered for her hospitality, generosity, and devotion to her family.
