O God, your very being is MERCY, the wellspring of all for which we long, the assurance of all on which we depend. We humbly stand before you, immersed in your goodness.
As we celebrate our calls to Mercy, we beseech you: Send your Spirit to mold us more and more to your likeness. Make us beacons of hope in a world so fractured by violence and division.
May the MERCY you are shine through us, to soften, to soothe, to encourage, to unite, that through you we may help heal your wounded world and contribute to the building of a new creation.
