I grew up in Dallas, Texas, but I also consider Michigan and Colorado home.
The first thing that resonated with me about Mercy life was the Critical Concerns, which aligned so much with my own social concerns. I love the boldness of the Mercies, and how I can pursue faith and justice in the context of a community of inspiring women.
I am an environmental engineer at a civil engineering firm, where I work on planning drinking water infrastructure across the US.
I love to read, knit, hike, and dance. I also love animals, and sometimes I volunteer at the animal shelter to get some dog time!
I also really enjoy listening to music, and I listen to a wide variety of genres, but primarily indie folk and indie pop. My all-time favorite band is The Oh Hellos!
