Age 84
Sister Pat was talented and funny. An educator, Sister Pat taught French for more than 20 years, mainly at Merion Mercy Academy in Merion, Pennsylvania, and also at Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania, as well as volunteering as a French tutor in her later years. Her French was flawless and inspired many young women to learn and esteem the French language and its manifold culture. With Sister Pat as their tour guide extraordinaire, her students astounded French natives with their finesse and command of the language. Sister Pat was part of every school endeavor, from daily teaching to stage production, school dances, and festive décor.
Sister Pat dearly loved her God, her Mercy family, and her students. May she now be rejoicing in the French section of Heaven, united at last with her God.
